Our goal in missions is to change the world and ourselves by living out love in acts of service to our neighbors — locally, nationally, and across the world. We strive to build partnerships, grow relationships and live God’s love out in sustainable and transformational ways that often take time and investment. If you have questions or would like to get involved with any of our mission ministries, contact Pastor Mike Rodden or Pastor Ginger Bassford.
St. Barnabas sends a mission team every year to partner with the people of the Granadillo 2 village in Nicaragua. We are proud to work through The Rainbow Network, an interdenominational Christian ministry working only in remote Nicaragua. Through community participation focusing on healthcare, education, economic development and housing, together we are changing lives. We recently reached our goal of raising funds that will provide a neighborhood of 25 homes to families in our partner community of Granadillo 2.
We typically head to Nicaragua in January or February, and we are always excited to have more people join us. Contact Pastor Mike Rodden if you are interested in joining the team.
St. Barnabas supports Katie Meek, a missionary with the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries serving as coordinator of congregational development and education for The United Methodist Church in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Learn more about Katie here.
