youth ministry

St. Barnabas Youth Ministry is a welcoming community for all students in 7th-12 grade, no matter where they are on their faith journey. We know that the junior high and high schools years are a time where students are most in need of kindness and community and someone to walk alongside them as they grow. Our Youth Ministry provides just that, connecting students with one another, as well as with leaders who want to support them. We are committed to finding a place of belonging for every student. Through weekly, large-group programs, small groups, weekend retreats, service opportunities, mission trips and so much more, we offer a pathway for students to be transformed by God. It is our hope to equip the student and family to continue the journey together of becoming deeply committed followers of Christ.

For more information, contact Kaitlyn Wilson, Director of Youth Discipleship. Parents are also encouraged to sign-up for our weekly Youth Discipleship Enewsletter.

All of our volunteers working with our children and youth have undergone background checks and are MinistrySafe approved.

9:30-10:45 A.M.

FLIGHT is the time on Sunday mornings for our junior and senior high students to engage God through relevant and encouraging Bible studies. They also explore how to reach those who haven’t met Christ yet and how the church is transforming. Meet in Room F-217-218 upstairs in the Family Life Center.

6:00-8:15 P.M.

Our Youth gathering takes place in the Family Life Center Gym on Sunday evenings. The night includes hangout time, a snack supper, music, a lesson, small group time and games.

6:30-7:30 P.M.

Our junior high and high school students divide into Connect Groups for their Midweek study, focusing on developing life-giving relationships with others and living out and growing their faith one day at a time. Meet in Room F-209-210 upstairs in the Family Life Center.

12:30-1:00 P.M.

Martin High School juniors and seniors are invited to Feeding Frenzy in the Family Life Center Gym each Thursday during the school year for a low-cost, hot lunch, community time and an opportunity to learn more about what's happening at St. Barnabas.
