UPDATE AS OF NOVEMBER 18, 2020

Our pastors, staff, and leadership council met this month and discussed beginning in-person worship and had November 22nd as a projected date. After looking at the Tarrant county COVID data and hearing from Bishop Lowry and his suggestion that churches continue to be online only, we have decided to postpone our coming back until a later date. Please understand that we hear you and your desire to want to be in-person again. We want to be in-person as well. We miss connecting with you all and seeing your smiling faces. We love each and every one of you and want to keep you safe.

ONLINE WORSHIP

As our Church Campus remains closed, St. Barnabas United Methodist Church is live streaming worship at 9:30am for Contemporary worship and 11:00 a.m. for traditional service. There are three ways to view our live streaming services: on our church website, on our YouTube channel or on our Facebook page

STAYING CONNECTED

Even as we are being asked to practice social distancing, we know that being in community is important for both our emotional and spiritual health. That is why we are working hard to create ways for those in our congregation to stay connected to God and each other.

For children, we are offering Kids Connect virtually via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:00 p.m., a family Sunday School via Zoom at 9:30 a.m. and an at-home Sunday School Packet for families to walk through together at their leisure. For more information, contact Alyssa Lawther, Children's Discipleship Director.

For youth, we are offering a virtual Bible Study on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m., virtual hangout time on Sundays from 6:00-8:00 p.m., family devotionals and fun at-home activities for the youth. For more information, contact Kaitlyn Wilson, Youth Discipleship Director.

Many of our adult Sunday School classes and small groups are meeting virtually also. For more information, contact the Church Office.
