Join the Journey Class for a St. Barnabas Christmas family outing at 10:30 a.m. at Mainstay Farm in Cleburne on Saturday, December 1. The park includes over 70 acres of family play with activities, rides and attractions including visiting Santa in the barn and creating your own Christmas s'more at Santa's S'more Station. Admission is $14.95 at the gate or $11.95 online. Children 2 and under are free.

Bundle up and bring the whole family to see The Star outside under the stars in our parking lot on Saturday, December 8. There will be a snowball fight, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and more! This free event is open to the whole community.

Celebrate the season as our Chancel Choir accompanied by orchestra present The Mystery and the Majesty by Joseph Martin during our traditional services on December 9. This inspirational cantata features traditional carols and seasonal anthems blended with thoughtful narration to help create a meaningful experience as we pause to consider the miracle of Christ's birth.

Our youth in 7th-12th grade will shop for needed items to those served by Mission Arlington.

EMMAUS COMMUNITIES CHRISTMAS GATHERING, 7:00 P.M.
St. Barnabas is hosting the Tarrant County Emmaus Communities Christmas Gathering at our church this year. The evening will begin with a Christmas sing-along in the Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. followed by a time of worship. The Fourth Day speaker will be Rev. Jodie Winbigler. After worship, all will gather for food and community time in the Family Life Center. Everyone is invited to attend! If you've never been on a Walk to Emmaus and are curious about this unique retreat, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more about it.

The Traditional Unplugged service on December 16 will feature a variety of multi-genre Christmas music and carols to ring in the holidays.
ENCOUNTER CHRISTMAS, 10:50 A.M., FAMILY LIFE CENTER
The Encounter worship service on Sunday, December 16, will be a worshipful morning of carols and Christmas favorites featuring the praise band and a time with an intimate setup of vocalists and instrumentalists.
POLYTECHNIC UNITED COMMUNITY CENTER POTLUCK AND CELEBRATION, 5:00 P.M.
This year we are again partnering with the Polytechnic United Community Center in Fort Worth for our Angel Tree outreach. On Sunday, December 16, our church family will host a fun night for the children and parents served by the center, including a potluck dinner, games for the children and a wrapping room for parents.

BLUE CHRISTMAS WORSHIP, 6:30 P.M., SANCTUARY
Are the holidays a difficult time for you? If so, you are invited to our Blue Christmas worship service on Tuesday, December 18, a special time of prayer, songs of grace and comfort, candles and healing. This service is for those who are grieving, have lost a loved one, are dealing with depression or other issues that make this a less than “merry” time of year. Come, find a quiet place with others who understand to spend a meaningful moment with God.

As part of our Angel Tree outreach, we will host a gathering for the seniors involved in Polytechnic's Care Advocacy services at the center in Fort Worth on Thursday, December 20. This shared time will include breakfast.
