Easter and holy week

We know that trying a church for the first time can be a little intimidating, that's why we've put together some information to help you Plan Your Visit. Each of our Easter services is approximately one hour in length and includes a time of music, a relevant and biblically-solid message and an opportunity for our church family to be generous. Childcare will be available at all services except the Sunrise Service on Easter. And, we will have a "selfie" photo booth set up in the Atrium on Easter morning for those who would like to take an Easter family photo.

If you have any questions about your visit, feel free to contact us.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in a Palm Parade at the beginning of each service.

  • For 8:30 a.m. worship, children should meet in the Narthex 10 minutes prior to service to participate.
  • For 9:30 a.m. worship, come early to Sunday School or meet in the Atrium 10 minutes prior to service. Children's Team members will take the children back to Sunday School after the parade.
  • For 10:50 and 11:00 a.m. service, meet in the Atrium at 10:35 a.m. to participate. The children and Chancel Choir will process through the Family Life Center first and then the Sanctuary. Immediately following the procession, there will be a Children's Time in the Sanctuary. The children can then go to Children's Church or return to sit with their parents in their worship space.

7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Beginning on Palm Sunday and throughout each of the days of Holy Week, everyone is encouraged to bring stones (large or small), place them at the foot of the cross in the Sanctuary, and spend a few moments in prayer. On Maundy Thursday, each person will be given a rock as they enter worship. Throughout the service, we will have an opportunity to explore that rock and ultimately turn it into an altar as we worship together. Come join us as we close out our sermon series on forgiveness.

Our Chancel Choir, along with guest instrumentalists and narration, will present the cantata, Song of the Shadows, a powerful invitation to contemplate the love and sacrifice of Christ.

saturday, april 20, 9:00 a.m.

Our youth will be preparing and serving pancakes at the annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 20, to help raise money for their summer mission trips. Breakfast will be followed by the children’s Easter Egg Hunt. Donations of individually-wrapped candy (no peanut products please) and tape are needed for the Egg Hunt. Bring donations to the Atrium by Sunday, April 7.

Following the Egg Hunt, we ask that all children come back inside to empty their eggs, keep the candy and return the eggs to the bins. And, if they have a prize egg, they can claim their prize at that time!
