youth ministry

St. Barnabas Student Ministry is a welcoming community for all students in 7th-12 grade, no matter where they are on their faith journey. We are committed to finding a place of belonging for every student. Through weekly, large-group programs, small groups, weekend retreats, music groups, service opportunities, mission trips and so much more, we offer a pathway for students to be transformed by God. We want to come alongside you on your faith journey. It is our hope to equip the student and family to continue the journey together of becoming deeply committed followers of Christ.

For more information, contact Kaitlyn Jackson, Director of Youth Discipleship.

All of our volunteers working with our children and youth have undergone background checks and are MinistrySafe approved.

sunday mornings

9:30-10:45 a.m.

FLIGHT, community time for our junior and senior high students, happens upstairs in F-217-218 every Sunday morning. We start with a Family Feud question before going into material that makes students think past their boundaries of their personal faith. We also explore how to reach those who haven’t met Christ yet and how the church is transforming.

6:00-8:15 P.M.

Our Youth gathering takes place in the Family Life Center Gym on Sunday evenings. The night includes hangout time, a snack supper for $2-3, music, a lesson, small group time and games.

thursday lunch

12:30-1:00 p.m.

Martin High School juniors and seniors are invited to Feeding Frenzy in the Family Life Center Gym each Thursday during the school year for a hot lunch, community time and an opportunity to learn more about what's happening at St. Barnabas. The cost is just $3 per student.
