St. Barnabas midweek

St. Barnabas Midweek is a connection event on Wednesday evenings; it’s about hospitality. It is a time of community and a meal, Bible studies, Connect Groups, music, children's and youth activities — sharing life together. It's about taking intentional steps towards following Jesus by loving God wholeheartedly and loving our neighbors as ourselves. The evening begins with a great meal and community time around our tables from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Midweek Cafe in the Family Life Center. See details below.

FALL 2018 CLASSES - WEDNESDAYS


Making Sense of the Bible, Wednesdays Beginning September 5, 6:30-7:45 p.m. -- Rev. Ginger Bassford will lead this 11-week study on Adam Hamilton's book, Making Sense of the Bible: Rediscovering the Power of Scripture Today. Purchase of and reading the book and various Scriptures on a weekly basis are required (you must use a paper copy of the book, not an ebook). 


Disciple 1 Fast Track: Becoming Disciples through Bible Study, Wednesdays beginning September 12, 7:00 p.m. -- This year, we’re offering all new Disciple Bible class series, Disciple Fast Track – Bible Study for Busy People. While the study follows the same books in the Bible, everything else is new and different: new approach, new videos and study guide offered over two, 12-week courses. This study is ideal for busy people who want to study the Old Testament (fall session) and the New Testament (spring session). The deadline to sign up is Sunday, September 2. Register online.

Revelation Ringers

6:15-7:30 p.m., Bell Room

This advanced bell choir rehearses on Wednesdays and rings one Sunday per month in addition to special services and concerts throughout the year. The choir rings a five-octave set of Malmark bells and a four-octave set of hand chimes. Director: Tracy Loftin


Chancel Choir

7:30-9:00 p.m. , Room E-107

This choir for adults sings each week in worship at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. The choir sings music in a variety of styles.




CHILDREN


6:30-7:30 p.m.

Our preschool-Kindergarten and 2nd-4th graders have an interactive lesson that includes art and music time. Our 5th and 6th graders meet in a Connect Group for their study.



YOUTH


6:30-7:30 p.m.

Our junior high and high school students divide into Connect Groups for their study.

Midweek cafe

Join us for a great meal and community time around our tables from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center on Wednesday nights during the school year (following the Arlington ISD calendar). Please join us!
