St. Barnabas is a vibrant family of faith made up of people from different walks of life. Uniting us is our belief in Jesus Christ, our desire to belong to his Church, and our persistent goal of becoming his hands and feet in the world. The church at worship is the church at work. It is the place that we come to be challenged and inspired to go out to do the work of our Lord. It is the place that our lives are transformed as we encounter and experience the presence of God. At St. Barnabas, worship is at the heart of our time together and is at the forefront of our mission statement which states: Our mission is …..”to worship God.”
We hope that you will join us for one of our weekly services. Customize your Sunday morning to fit your lifestyle. Choose from our worship services and a variety of Sunday school classes to fit every age and stage in life.
9:00 – Sanctuary – “Classic Service”
This 45 minute service presents a relaxed and casual time of worship that is reminiscent of an old-time Methodist camp meeting or an old-time revival, with lots of gospel and soul. There is a high priority on familiarity. In other words, you’ll sing the soul-stirring gospel worship songs and hymns you know and love, that you heard growing up. You can’t help but be moved.
11:00 – Sanctuary – “Heritage Service”
Our most traditional service of worship, which incorporates creeds, corporate prayers, hymns, and special features of classical and contemporary music by soloists, ensembles, and our Chancel Choir along with frequent special instrumental or handbell music. This service also will feature a children’s time lead by our pastor. In addition worship folders are available for children to enhance their experience of worshiping God.
