Our goal in missions is to change the world and ourselves by living out love in acts of service to our neighbors — locally, nationally, and across the world. We strive to build partnerships, grow relationships and live God’s love out in sustainable and transformational ways that often take time and investment. If you have questions or would like to get involved with any of our mission ministries, contact Pastor Mike Rodden or Pastor Ginger Bassford.
St. Barnabas sends a mission team every year to partner with the people of the Granadillo 2 village in Nicaragua. We are proud to work through The Rainbow Network, an interdenominational Christian ministry working only in remote Nicaragua. Through community participation focusing on healthcare, education, economic development and housing, together we are changing lives. We are currently working to raise funds that will provide a neighborhood of 25 homes to families in our partner community of Granadillo 2. Our goal is to raise $140,000 for land and houses, and we're 40% of the way there already as of July 2017!
We typically head to Nicaragua in January or February, and we are always excited to have more people join us. Contact Pastor Mike Rodden if you are interested in joining the team.
St. Barnabas supports North Katanga Wings of the Morning Aviation Ministry and global missionaries Gaston and Jeanne Ntambothese and their ministry financially and in our prayers. Gaston is a pilot and mechanic, and his wife, Jeanne, is the radio operator. Together, they make sure critical medical needs are met by providing air transportation to those in need in rural areas of the Congo. Learn more about their work here.
