Anytime we try something for the first time, it's typical for us to be a little anxious; we don't like the unknown. In order to calm any nervousness, here is a little of what you can expect on your first visit to St. Barnabas:
As you enter one of our church parking lots look for signs directing you to the building for the event for which you are attending.
As you make your way into our facility, if you have children you are welcome to make your way to one of our age-appropriate nurseries or Sunday school classes. Children’s classes and our nursery are located mostly in the education building adjacent to the sanctuary while our youth classes are located on the 2nd floor of the Family Life Center (gym).
If, however, you would like to worship with your child, please know that they are welcome in any of our services.
After arranging for your child's care, you are welcome to explore our campus. Maps are located throughout our facility or stop by the Welcome Center located in the narthex next to the Sanctuary where a host will be able to answer any of your questions, provide you with brochures and/or give you directions.
Our worship services are casual...there's no need for a tie. In both of our worship services you will find an exciting and compelling presentation of Biblical truths in word, song, and prayer. You have 2 different styles of worship from which to choose.
9:00 - Classic Worship, & 11:00 – Heritage Service. Choose the service that best describes your desire for worshiping or try both for a closer look. While in your worship service, please fill out the attendance pad that is located at the end of your pew closest to the center of the sanctuary. You may note any specific information you would like on that form to help us celebrate your presence with us and to get to know you better. The week following your first visit, you will receive our church newsletter, The Epistle, which will help you learn more about our church and ministries.
If at any time you have questions, please visit our Welcome Center located just out side the sanctuary. Make sure you stop by the Family Life Center for a time of fellowship around free donuts and coffee. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our community of faith!
