Mission Statement

The mission of St. Barnabas UMC Early Education Center is to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

History and Purpose

St. Barnabas UMC Early Education Center began in August of 2001 as a Parent's Day Out program. The program was an extension of the ministry of St. Barnabas United Methodist Church as a need was determined for a program that catered to parents of preschool children in our community. As we have continued to grow, the program has become a place where children can experience a balanced program of early education grounded in Biblical values. Our wonderful staff is continually trained, providing a safe, loving, and Godly environment for the children.

Curriculum

We use the WEE Learn Christian Preschool curriculum for all ages along with the Frog Street curriculum for academic purposes. Many other resources are used to ensure our teachers are selecting activities that provide for a balanced program of early childhood education, which help the children grow physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
