St. Barnabas Midweek is a connection event on Wednesday evenings; it’s about hospitality. It is a time of community and a meal, Bible studies, Connect Groups, music, children's and youth activities — sharing life together. It's about taking intentional steps towards following Jesus by loving God wholeheartedly and loving our neighbors as ourselves. The evening begins with a great meal and community time around our tables from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Midweek Cafe in the Family Life Center. See details below.
FALL 2017 CLASSES
Each fall and spring we offer a variety of Disciple Bible studies. Classes planned for this fall are:
⮞Disciple 1 Fast Track, Begins September 13
This 24-week class is an introductory study of the Old and New Testaments using a combination of a participant’s guide and weekly video segments.
⮞Jesus in the Gospels, Begins September 13
This 32-week comparative study of Jesus within the four biblical gospels connects Scripture to daily life and Jesus’ call to discipleship. This study uses a combination of a participant's guide and weekly video segments.
⮞Book of Ruth, Begins September 13
This 11-week study, subtitled Loving God Enough to Break the Rules, is filled with insights that have life-changing implications for men and women.
⮞Invitation to Romans, Begins Thursday, September 14
This 11-week study is a focused look at Romans centering more on communal salvation than on individual salvation, a rich resource for envisioning living a faithful life in an age of religious pluralism.
⮞Pastoral Study focusing on prayer, Begins Wednesday, September 20
